The
human touch - no matter how progressive the world becomes, nothing
can take its place. We welcome you to experience the soothing,
relaxing and rejuvenating benefits of massage that extend not
just to body, but mind as well. We customize to fit your needs.
Our body treatments are the ideal compliment, giving your skin
that velvet glow.
Massage therapy has many benefits to the skin, tissue, muscles,
and bones. Getting a massage helps your skin feel softer and increases
its elasticity, your muscle fiber is toned, joint aches and pains
are eased, while blood flow is accelerated. Depending on the massage,
you will be placed in one of our private massage rooms or our
special upper body massage chair. The private ultra whirlpool
bath or steam shower/shower unit can be added to your massage
service to provide you with further convenience.

The
Beneficial Effects of Massage
-
Massage dilates or opens up blood vessels, improving the circulation
and relieving congestion.
-
Massage
acts as a “mechanical cleanser”: pushing along lymph and hastening
the elimination of wastes and toxic debris.
-
Massage
relaxes muscle spasm and relieves tension.
-
Massage
improves muscle tone and helps prevent or delay musculartrophy
resulting from forced inactivity.
-
Massage
can compensate, at least in part, for lack of exercise and muscular
contraction in persons who because of injury, illness, or age
are forced to remain inactive. In these cases massage helps
return venous blood to the heart and so eases the strain on
this vital organ.
-
Transverse
massage separates muscle fibers, undoing or preventing the formation
of adhesions or scar tissue.
-
Massage
may have a sedative, simulative or even exhausting effect on
the nervous system depending on the type and length of massage
treatment given.
-
Massage
improves the circulation and nutrition of joints and hastens
the elimination of harmful particles. It helps lessen inflammation
and swelling in joints and so alleviates pain.
-
Massage
helps eliminate edema (water weight) of extremities.
-
Massage
disperses the edema following injury to ligaments and tendons,
lessens pain and facilitates movement.
